A hurricane proof home with modern style
A “hurricane-proof” home in the community of Meteghan River, Nova Scotia, has been getting some press over the summer. This one-of-a-kind beach house, made from approximately 612,000 recycled plastic bottles has been built to withstand the awesome fury of a Category 5 hurricane, all without sacrificing any of its aesthetic value.
