Fly South to Sunny San Diego for the CCA’s Annual Conference

The theme for this year’s Canadian Construction Association’s (CCA) annual conference will be centred on Clear Vision 2020 and will cater to construction industry members from across Canada. Join us in San Diego on March 15-18, 2020, to listen to experts in the field and participate in various events.

The program

The first day of the conference, March 15, will start with a golf tournament sponsored by Zurich, which will be held at the Coronado Golf Course. This tournament is designed to maximize networking between attendees. If golfing is not your thing, there are also CCA optional tours available that you may take instead. The day wraps up with a welcoming reception.

Breakfast and one of the keynote speakers, Andy Stumpf, will get your second day started. The day consists of many different sessions and events, including campfire sessions which allow participants to engage in their own learning and discussion, various seminars about the construction industry, and wraps up with a rant and beer evening where participants can enjoy listening to old favourites and some promising new talent.

Day three starts with the awards breakfast and keynote speaker, Mandy Rennehan, presenting a talk on the skilled trade shortage in North America. Afterwards, there is to be a companion’s tour to the San Diego Zoo, followed by an hour where five featured companies are given the opportunity to impress attendants on their new innovative products, services and/or solutions. The afternoon is once again filled with interesting and informative sessions. And Procore’s famous after party will end the day with fun. 

On the final day, the morning will start with the remaining sessions before the Annual General Meeting is held at 10:30 AM. The rest of the day will be filled with chances for attendees to enjoy themselves, before the closing reception wraps up the conference.
