BUILDEX Vancouver: Dressed to Impress for 30th Anniversary

BUILDEX Vancouver celebrates its 30th Anniversary on February 13 and 14, 2019.  Over the last three decades, BUILDEX has played host to a multitude of important conversations that have proven to be key in the advancement of Vancouver’s building industry.  By providing a platform for industry dialogue, attendees, exhibitors and speakers alike have had the opportunity to learn from renowned keynotes, engaging panel presentations, and countless technical seminars and workshops.

As BUILDEX continues in the tradition of bringing together the entirety of the building industry, the 2019 event in Vancouver will be an experience that will help to enable Architecture and Design, Construction, and Property Management Professionals to fully immerse themselves in dialogue, experience innovation, and build community, thereby providing a meaningful platform for industry advancement.

Program Announced

Developed upon the idea of ‘Shaping the Future, Honouring the Past’, the 2019 BUILDEX conference will tackle those matters that truly impact the current and future state of the building industry and will feature conversations that are centered around Technology and Innovation, Culture and Community, and Business Resilience.  Speakers from around the globe will be here to address topics such as, Health and Wellness, Accessibility, Cannabis, Smart Cities and Buildings, Blockchain, Virtual Reality, 3D Printing, and the Future of Mobility Technology; just to name a few.

New and Noteworthy

Complemented by a new state-of-the-art brand, this year’s event will feature multiple contemporary features on the tradeshow floor.  TECHCENTRIC – an intimate area that provides attendees with the information they need to embrace present and future day technology into their practice, will host half-hour, tech-based snap-chats over the course of the two day event.   Providing a narrative on the strides made within the local development scene, the Shaping Our Cities Development Showcase will pay tribute to many innovative projects that have occurred within Vancouver over the last 30 years.  In addition, attendees will be able to experience an immersive and interactive entry feature created in collaboration with one of industry’s top design disruptors.

BUILDEX Vancouver will welcome back the Passive House Pavilion presented in partnership with Passive House Canada, the European Innovations Pavilion, and the PAMA Networking area.  Furthermore, we have the chance to see the return of key association events such as the ICBA CEO Breakfast, the BOMA BC Luncheon, and the IDIBC Leaders Breakfast.

With more than 600 exhibits, more than 90 tailored sessions, and numerous quality networking events, this year’s BUILDEX Vancouver is set to be a must attend.
